Vet Record Impact Award 2021

Reason for the Award

Each year the Veterinary Record gives the Vet Record Impact Award to the paper published in the journal that is felt makes the most useful potential contribution to changing veterinary practice.

Professor Volker Krömker from Section for Production, Nutrition and Health, was co-author on the article that won this award 2021.

"Each year the Veterinary Record gives the Vet Record Impact Award to the paper published in the journal that is felt makes the most useful potential contribution to changing veterinary practice.

This year the prize has been awarded to the paper ‘Implementation of a targeted mastitis therapy concept using an on – farm rapid test: antimicrobial consumption, cure rates and compliance'.

The prize was awarded at the British Veterinary Association's (which owns the journal) AGM and members day - on 23 September 2021.
