My main research interests are within ”One Health”, i.e. problems crossing the veterinary/human interface such as zoonoses and antimicrobial resistance. Previously, I have mainly been working with foodborne zoonoses, followed by some years with focus on MRSA, before now moving on to focusing on spread of antimicrobial resistance in the veterinary reservoir with potential impact on human health in general.
I am trained as an epidemiologist, and are currently mainly working with mechanistic stochastic modelling of disease spread and interventions, but also have experience within more classical epidemiology.
In addition to my research, I am involved in coordination, administration and planning in relation to the veterinary contingency.
