PhD-student wins poster price at the SVEPM 2024 Conference
At the annual European conference in Society for Veterinary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, SVEPM, PhD-student Helene Ane Jensen won the poster price for her poster on a study on risk factors for outbreaks of avian influenza in poultry farms, and her excellent poster pitch. Congratulations!
From Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, a total of 16 persons participated with four oral presentations, three poster pitches, and numerous posters on varying research areas including five different aspects on avian influenza, key performance indicators for foot-and-mouth disease, Salmonella transmission between cattle farms, inclusion of sustainability in the veterinary education and much more.
