COPE studies health and disease during early development in animals and humans.

Biology has to a large extent become an information science. With the quantity of biological data being generated, for example by high-throughput sequencing techniques, data can only meaningfully be processed by computer.

The ExPT Lab works with increased oxidative stress which has been associated with several chronic diseases including atherosclerosis, liver steatosis, diabetes and cancer.

Our research group focuses on novel regulatory mechanisms that control the immune system and on development of future immune diagnostic tools based on nanotechnology.

Through animal models we aim for a better understanding of inflammatory-metabolic human diseases and psychiatric diseases.

MiNI aims at investigating how microbes and compounds in our environment, in particular food components, affect the immune system.

We study the disease mechanisms behind especially heart- and infectious diseases. We work with client-owned dogs and pigs bred for research purposes.
