Annual workshops on state space models for animal health surveillance
As part of the DECIDE project, the partner at UCPH offers annual workshops for project participants.
A workshop typically runs over all five workdays of a week. Participants are encourage to bring own time series data to the workshop so that they can get started with project related modeling. If a participant does not have useful data of his/her own, a suitable data set will be provided.
The format of the workshop is lectures and mini exercises in plenum (typically in the morning) alternating with supervised work with own data (typically in the afternoon).
Every year, a general introduction to dynamic linear models will be given, supplemented with a specific theme for the year. An overview of the annual workshops and their themes is given here:
- 2022: Gaussian state space models (dynamic linear models)
- 2023: Multi-level models
- 2024: Dynamic generalized linear models (non-Gaussian)
