EFSA AHAW Network meeting

On 23-24 September 2024, Carsten Kirkeby participated in a meeting in Parma as new member of EFSA’s animal health network.

At the meeting, updates on early warning activities for HPAI was discussed, as well as the outbreaks found in mammals. Further vaccination scenarios were discussed. Current updates on ASF, PPR, vector-borne diseases, and One Health surveillance were also presented. The meeting concluded with insights on the European Partnership on Animal Health and Welfare.
