ISAE 2019

At the 2019 congress for the International Society of Applied Ethology (ISAE) in Bergen, Dorte Bratbo was co-organizing a workshop on Animal Training together with Kristina M. Horback from University of California, Davis. The workshop attracted 60 people working with animal training; including dog and horse trainers, assistance animal trainers and animal behaviour researchers.

At the workshop, Jonas Riise Johansen, the CEO at Fjellanger Hundesenter in Norway, gave a presentation on Training animal to co-operate for veterinary procedures and demonstrated practical training for veterinary procedures with his pug, Ludvig. 

Kristina Horback presented her thoughts on Creating an online inventory of animal training protocols, and Dorte Bratbo gave a talk on Laboratory Animal Training or Training animal models in biomedical research
