International conference: Wastewater-based surveillance of infectious diseases
We are pleased to invite you to the international conference on “Wastewater-based surveillance of infectious diseases” which will be held on 12 November at the Paris Brain Institute.
A day of exchanges around the scientific discoveries of wastewater-based epidemiology (WBE) and deployment strategies on an international scale, coordinated by the 4EU+ alliance, Sorbonne University, the GIS Obépine, Geneva Health Forum and Pantheon Assas University, with the support and participation of WHO.
This conference will include scientific presentations, highlighting the current state of knowledge and perspectives. It also proposes to consider how this approach can be integrated into national and international monitoring plans, through the interventions of European and international personalities involved in the implementation of plans for monitoring and preventing future infectious epidemics. The conference will present examples of ongoing projects in several countries.
As UCPH lead on the 4EU+ project SWEALTH, Anders Dalsgaard will be hosting the international conference together with partners from the other 4EU+ universities.
Registration for this international conference is free.
