Forskerkollegiet (Faculty Board)
The purpose of the department faculty board is to have a forum where the head of department and day-to-day management can interact with the department's faculty VIP staff in research and education strategic matters, including job plans and recruitment strategy. Through involvement and influence, staff members will be motivated to participate actively in the department’s development.
Composition and organization
In 2023, the research committee was closed down and a new faculty board was set-up, following the overall UCPH policy to have faculty boards at all departments. Following this, members (faculty incl. tenure track assistant professors) were appointed or elected in the eight sections. Two head of sections, the chairman of our teaching committee and the Head of department are also part of the faculty board.
The board will have their first meeting in February 2024, where the more specific tasks and procedures will be discussed.
